What is Pulmonary Rehabilitation?

Pulmonary rehabilitation is a programme of exercise and education for people with a long-term lung condition. Aim of pulmonary Rehabilitation is to reversing or stabilizing the extra-pulmonary effects of lung diseases.

Why pulmonary rehabilitation?

Rising air pollution in a Delhi is leading to rising incidences of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other respiratory diseases in the population. As air pollution reached alarming levels in the national capital Region, a surge in the number of patients suffering from respiratory and breathing complications, especially children and the elderly. Pollution levels in the region are persistently in the "severe plus" category.

Who can undergo pulmonary rehabilitation?

Patients with following conditions are appropriate candidates for PR:
